Your history stays yours. A lapsed plan goes read-only, it does not go away.
A plan lapses when you cancel and the paid period runs out, or when a renewal payment fails and the retries stop. Your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you have already synced is deleted, and everything you could read yesterday you can still read today.
What keeps working
You can open Mustro, read every Skill you had installed, and go back through your history as far as it goes. Exporting your data keeps working. Removing a Skill keeps working. You keep the Free credit allowance each month, so you can still ask Mustro questions.
What stops
Skills that need a paid plan become read-only, so changes are refused and background syncing stops. Nothing new comes in from a connected account until the plan is paid again. The features that generate work for you, such as the weekly deep dive and receipt hunting, stop with them.
When a write is refused, Mustro says so in the moment rather than failing quietly, and tells you your data is safe and still readable.
There is no Mustro grace period
If a renewal payment fails, your access continues while the till that sold you the subscription retries the payment. Apple, Google, and your card issuer each set that retry window themselves, and it can differ per person and per country. Mustro does not add a grace period on top, and does not shorten theirs. When the retries stop, the plan moves to Free.
During that retry window Mustro still shows you as subscribed, because you still are. If you want it to stop, cancel at the till rather than waiting for the payment to fail.
Getting your plan back
Subscribe again at whichever till you prefer. Your account, your history, and your installed Skills are waiting where you left them, and writing and syncing start again as soon as the payment clears. If you are buying at a store, tap Restore Purchases first, in case that store still holds a live purchase.
When your plan lapses, answered.
We do not set one. Access continues while Apple, Google, or your card issuer retries a failed payment, and the length of that window belongs to them. We would rather say that than publish a number we do not control.
No. Read-only means read-only. The data stays, you can still read it, and you can still export it. Deleting your account is a separate, deliberate action.
No. The Skill stays installed and readable. You can remove it yourself at any time, on any plan.
No. Syncing stops with the rest of the writes, so no new data arrives from a connected account while the plan is lapsed. The connection itself stays in place for when you come back.
