SupportSwitch how you pay

Cancel the old one first. The three tills do not talk to each other, so nothing cancels itself.

Moving from store billing to web billing, or the other way, is two steps rather than one. Cancel where you are paying now, then buy where you want to pay next. Skipping the first step is how people end up paying twice.

The rule

Your Mustro account holds one subscription at a time, but the tills are three separate businesses. Apple does not know what Google is charging you, neither of them knows what we are charging you, and Mustro cannot cancel a store subscription for you. So the order matters: cancel first, then buy.

Moving from web billing to a store

Cancel the web subscription in your billing settings, then wait until the paid period has ended before you buy in the app. If you buy in the app while the web subscription is still live, both keep billing you. Mustro does not currently block that, and neither store will warn you.

Billing Settings

If you would rather not wait, write to support before you buy in the app. We can end the web subscription for you, and we can look at the unused part with you.

Moving from a store to web billing

Cancel in your Apple or Google account first. Web checkout refuses to sell you a plan you already hold, so while the store subscription is still live the purchase will not go through. Once it has ended, subscribe in Settings, then Billing.

Apple Subscriptions

This refusal is a guard, not an error on your part. It exists so that the obvious sequence, buying on the web while the store still bills you, cannot double-charge you.

If you are already paying twice

Write to support with both receipts. The web payment is one we took, so we can cancel that subscription and refund it. The store payment has to go back through Apple or Google, so we will tell you exactly what to send them and confirm the charges in writing if it helps the request.

Cancel the one you do not want to keep at its own till while the refund is being sorted, so the next renewal does not land in the middle of it.

Questions

Switch how you pay, answered.

No. Mustro treats a plan the same whoever sold it, so Plus bought on the web and Plus bought in the App Store unlock exactly the same thing. Your history is attached to your account, not to the payment.

At a store, yes: cancelling leaves you subscribed until the period ends, so buy elsewhere after that date. The web works the same way, and if you would rather not wait out the period, tell support you are switching and we will go through the options with you.

Because you already hold that plan or better. Selling it to you again would take a second payment for something you already have, so checkout refuses until the first subscription has ended.

Whichever you find easiest to manage. Web billing gives you invoices, card changes, and a cancel button we can also press for you. Store billing keeps everything inside the Apple or Google account you already use.

This did not answer it.

Write to support@mustro.ai with the email on your account and the receipt or order number. A person reads every note and answers, usually within one business day.
