SupportCancel your subscription

Cancel where you bought it. Three tills sell Mustro, and each one cancels in its own account.

A subscription bought inside the iPhone or Android app belongs to Apple or Google, and only they can cancel it. A subscription bought on the web belongs to us, and you cancel it in your billing settings.

First, find out who is billing you

Open the Mustro app, go to You, then Subscription. The manage link there tells you which till holds your subscription: it points at the App Store, at Google Play, or at your billing settings on the web. Your card statement says the same thing. A charge from Apple or Google is a store subscription, and a charge from Mustro is a web subscription.

Cancel an App Store subscription

Apple holds this subscription. Mustro cannot cancel it for you, and support cannot cancel it on your behalf, because we have no way to reach into your Apple account.

  1. 01

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name.

  2. 02

    Tap Subscriptions, then tap Mustro.

  3. 03

    Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Apple Subscriptions

You can also go straight to your Apple subscriptions page in a browser. Deleting the Mustro app does not cancel anything, and neither does deleting your Mustro account.

  2. 02

Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

  3. 03

You can also manage it in a browser from your Google Play subscriptions page. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Cancel a web subscription

This one is ours, so you can do it yourself in seconds and support can do it for you if something is stuck.

  1. 01

Sign in to the Mustro web app.

  2. 02

    Open Settings, then Billing.

  3. 03

Choose Manage to open the billing portal, then cancel there.

Billing Settings

The billing portal is also where you change card details, switch between monthly and annual, and download past invoices.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut you off on the spot: you keep the plan you paid for until the end of the current period, and your subscription screen shows the date it ends. When that date passes, your account moves to the Free plan and paid Skills become read-only. Nothing you have already synced is deleted.

Read what read-only means before you cancel, so the change on the day is not a surprise.

Questions

Cancel your subscription, answered.

No. An App Store or Google Play subscription lives in your store account, not in the app, so it keeps renewing until you cancel it there.

No. We can cancel a web subscription for you, and we can tell you which till is charging you, but Apple and Google do not give us the ability to cancel their subscriptions on your behalf.

No. Cancelling changes what Mustro may do, not what he keeps. Your history stays in your account and stays readable. Deleting your account is a separate action in Settings.

Before the period ends, yes. Resubscribe at the same till and you keep the same account and the same history. For a store subscription, use Restore Purchases first, in case the store still holds a live purchase.
