New phone, same subscription. Restoring hands your existing store purchase back to Mustro.
If you bought Mustro in the App Store or on Google Play, the purchase belongs to your store account rather than to a device. Reinstall the app, sign in, and restore it. A web subscription needs no restoring at all.
When you need this
Restore a purchase when you have reinstalled the app, moved to a new phone, or signed back in and Mustro shows you the Free plan while a store is still charging you. Restoring asks the store what you own and applies the answer to your Mustro account.

Go to You, then Subscription.
- 03
Tap Restore Purchases and wait for the screen to refresh.
Restore a Google Play purchase
Sign in to the same Google account that made the purchase, then use the same button.
- 01
Open the Mustro app and sign in to your Mustro account.
- 02
Go to You, then Subscription.
- 03
Tap Restore Purchases and wait for the screen to refresh.
A web subscription has nothing to restore
A subscription bought on the web is attached to your Mustro account, not to a device or a store. Sign in with the same email on any device, including the phone apps, and your plan is already there.
Billing Settings →If restore finds nothing
Restore reports nothing when the store has no live purchase to hand over. Check three things in this order: that you are signed in to the store account that paid, that the subscription is still active in that store account, and that you are signed in to the right Mustro account. A subscription that has already lapsed cannot be restored, and needs to be bought again.
If the purchase was made on a Mustro account you no longer use, restore fails on purpose rather than moving the subscription between accounts. Write to support with the store receipt and we will sort out which account it belongs to.
Restore a purchase, answered.
No. Restoring asks the store to confirm a purchase you have already made. It never starts a new one.
Whichever one belongs to the store account signed in on that device. The Mustro account you are signed in to receives it, so restore on a shared device while signed in to your own Mustro account.
No. A store purchase binds to one Mustro account. Trying to restore it onto a second account is refused, which is what stops one subscription quietly covering two people.
Check the email you signed in with on the phone. Web subscriptions follow the Mustro account, so a different sign-in shows a different plan. If the email matches and the plan is still wrong, write to support.
